Physician-run credentialing operations

Credentialing built by the team that needed it first.

Talon Credentialing helps healthcare organizations launch, track, and maintain provider credentialing with the operational discipline of a physician-run network and the visibility of a modern portal.

We saw credentialing break down in real operations, so we built the system we wished already existed.

Who we are

A physician-run team, not a generic back office.

Talon grew out of the operating stack we built for our own internal PC group. We were recruiting, verifying, licensing, tracking, and supporting clinicians across multiple states while keeping client partners informed. Spreadsheets and inbox threads were too fragile for that job.

So we turned the work into a portal: one place to see provider status, license gaps, credentialing progress, client assignments, renewals, and the documents that prove the work is real.

What we do

Credentialing operations with a portal attached.

Similar category to Medallion, but shaped around the operational problems we have already solved inside a live provider network.

Provider file management

Track core provider records, license data, credentialing documents, client assignments, and status in one structured place.

State licensing visibility

See where a provider can operate, what is missing, what is expiring, and what needs action before coverage is at risk.

Renewal monitoring

Keep deadlines out of inbox memory. Talon surfaces renewal timing, file collection, and follow-up before it becomes urgent.

Document readiness

Organize the evidence clients need: licenses, IDs, malpractice, board details, payer packets, and other credentialing artifacts.

Client-scoped portal access

Clients can see their own credentialing work without exposing the rest of the network or relying on manual status emails.

Clinical context built in

The workflow understands clinicians, licenses, collaborating physician needs, and multi-state digital health operations.

For individual providers

Licensing help for clinicians expanding across states.

For individual physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians, Talon can help turn multi-state licensing from a scattered paperwork project into a tracked, supported process.

State strategy

Identify which state licenses fit the provider's clinical goals, client opportunities, telehealth plans, and timing constraints.

Application support

Organize requirements, documents, forms, board portal steps, and follow-up items so the application does not stall in the details.

Renewal tracking

Track expiration dates, renewal windows, CE requirements, and supporting documents before a license becomes urgent or inactive.

Why Talon

Built from actual credentialing pressure.

We are not trying to dress up an HR database. Talon is meant to make credentialing work visible, accountable, and easier to hand off between operators, clinicians, and clients.

Talon Credentialing

  • Physician-run team that understands clinical licensing and operational risk.
  • Portal already connected to provider, license, document, and client records.
  • Designed for multi-state telehealth networks and partner visibility.
  • Practical workflows for renewals, gaps, client assignments, and document readiness.

Generic credentialing software

  • Often starts as a vendor database that still needs an operator to make sense of the work.
  • May separate client visibility from the provider operations actually driving the status.
  • Can be expensive and broad before the workflow is tuned to a specific clinical model.
  • Usually leaves a layer of spreadsheets, inboxes, and manual status calls around the edges.
Workflow

From intake to ongoing maintenance.

Talon is built for the entire lifecycle, not just a launch checklist.

1

Intake

Capture provider, client, license, and document requirements in a structured workspace.

2

Verify

Review licenses, expirations, state coverage, credentialing artifacts, and missing file gaps.

3

Assign

Map providers to clients and expose only the right scoped credentialing status to each partner.

4

Maintain

Monitor renewals, outstanding documents, and operational risk after the first go-live.

For client partners

Less chasing. More confidence that providers are ready.

Talon helps client teams understand who is credentialed, where providers can work, what is still missing, and which licensing or document gaps could slow down launch.

Client-specific rosters

Keep each client's provider pipeline organized by assignment, state coverage, licensing status, and readiness for work.

Provider readiness

See which clinicians are ready, which need follow-up, and which missing items are blocking credentialing or launch.

Clear status updates

Replace scattered email threads with a structured view of progress, open tasks, submitted files, and next steps.

Operational follow-through

Use a team that understands licensing details, provider operations, and the client pressure behind every go-live date.
